My old college friend Angi Shearstone has self-published a book of some of her short painted comics. I like her stuff, but then, I have whatever the visual art equivalent of a tin ear is. Granite eye? Something. But my various friends who went through art school with her were constantly impressed with her work as well.
You may think I'm going to tell you to go buy the book...but you'd be wrong. Angi's hinted that if you wait a month, it'll be available in actual comic-book-size format. So that's what I'm planning to do.
